These were the parents of Natalie Carter Broach.
The Broach family was well known in the Lauderdale County area of Mississippi.  They had migrated there from South Carolina and were descendants of Abner Broach of Darlinton, SC.

Bettie Mosby was the daughter of a farmer and school teacher.  She was one of the first people to learn to use the typewriter.

Walter Edwin Broach,

Walter Broach was an entrepeneur
and adventurer.  In 1910 he moved the family to Oklahoma where he drilled oil wells, was in real estate and insurance and mining.

Bettie Mosby Broach,
about 1895

Bettie Mosby Broach had 11 children and raised two more from Walter's first marriage.  She was a social leader in Meridian, MS and Tulsa, OK.
